Why it works

The QNG seal is a state-recognized seal of quality from the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction (BMWSB) for sustainable buildings and at the same time a funding requirement for federal funding for efficient buildings (BEG).

The QNG seal is awarded to buildings that receive sustainability certification with a registered rating system for sustainable construction and meet the additional special QNG requirements in the areas of life cycle assessment, sustainable material extraction, pollution prevention, accessibility, natural hazards and green roofs.
